Congenital laryngeal fissure
Laryngeal dysplasia, a fissure exists, called congenital laryngeal fissure, which mostly occurs in the back of the larynx. The degree of laryngeal fissure is different. The light one has a fissure only between the condylar cartilages on both sides, and the severe laryngeal fissure is completely split at the back of the throat and even the upper end of the trachea. The cause of this is not clear.
