Subcutaneous lipid granulomatosis

This disease is also known as Rothmann-Makai syndrome. First reported in 1984, in 1928 Makai named the disease subcutaneous lipid granulomatosis. This disease is rare and occurs mainly in children. It is considered to be a type of nodular panniculitis. The nodules are scattered, no atrophy and depression after subsidence, and no systemic symptoms.
