Pick's disease dementia

Because Pick first reported the disease in 1892, it was called Pickrsquo; s disease. The pathological changes are mainly atrophy of the cerebral cortex, or localized changes of the frontal and temporal lobes, and can also be subcortical dementia. The main manifestation of the disease is progressive mental retardation with a chronic course. The pathological change is lobular atrophy, mainly in the frontal and temporal lobes. However, neurofibrillary tangles and senile plaques in the brain did not exceed normal aging.
