Pediatric autoimmune hemolytic anemia

Autoimmune haemolytic anaemias (AIHA) is an acquired immune anemia. It is caused by the body's autoantibodies that react with the auto-erythrocyte antigen and adsorb on the surface of red blood cells, causing premature destruction of red blood cells. The result is a type of hemolytic anemia. Can occur at any age, the most common disease in childhood.
