Hyperlipoproteinemia type IV
Hyperlipoproteinemia type Ⅳ (hyperlipoproteinemia type Ⅳ), also known as fat and carbohydrate-induced hyperlipidemia, hyperchylomicronemia, and prebeta Hypertriglyceridemia. It is a hyperbeta; -lipoproteinemia often triggered by sugars. It is the most common type, with adult onset. It is autosomal recessive, but exogenous factors play an important role. Like diabetes, it is a constitutional disease.
