Severe combined immunodeficiency

Due to the abnormal congenital differentiation of lymphoid stem cells and the lack of T cells and B cells after birth, both humoral and cellular immunity are defective. Severe combined immunodificiency (SCID) can be divided into X-linked genotypes, autosomal recessive genotypes, and sporadic types. It is a severe type of combined immunodeficiency disease.
