Cardia mucosa tear syndrome
Cardiac mucosal laceration syndrome is a syndrome characterized by large amounts of vomiting, uncoordinated vomiting, and longitudinal tearing of the esophagogastric junction. It was first reported by Mallory and Weiss in 1929, and therefore Called Mallory-Weiss syndrome. The disease was thought to be rare in the past, but due to the widespread use of fiber-esophagoscopy, the diagnosis of the disease is easier, and reports have been increasing in large groups of cases. The incidence of this disease in the literature accounts for 3% of upper gastrointestinal bleeding ~ 15%.
