Residual leiomyosarcoma

Remnant gastric leiomyosarcoma is a pathological type of remnant gastric cancer, which refers to cancer that recurs in the remnant stomach after major gastric resection for several years due to benign or malignant gastric disease. Most scholars believe that cancers that occur in the gastric stump 5 years after benign gastric disease and 10 years after the malignant disease are collectively referred to as residual gastric cancer.
