Ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm
Although the mortality rate of elective abdominal aortic aneurysm surgery has dropped to 5% or less, rupture of abdominal aortic aneurysm is an extremely critical state, and patients often die due to major hemorrhagic shock before coming to the clinic. Surgical mortality is as high as 31% to 70%, which is the main cause of death in patients with abdominal aortic aneurysms. Early diagnosis and emergency surgery to control bleeding are essential.
