Neonatal renal venous thrombosis

Renal venous thrombosis (RVT) is renal venous thrombosis. Primary NRVT is mainly associated with dehydration, increased blood viscosity, and decreased renal blood flow. Thick blood and increased blood viscosity reduce renal flow and renal oxygenation, followed by renal edema, increased renal small blood vessel pressure, and ultimately renal vein thrombosis. Its clinical manifestations lack specificity and are often covered by critical underlying diseases. Therefore, there is no exact morbidity and mortality data.
