Esophageal penetrating injury
If a small hole appears after injury, it is called perforation, and if a full-layer crack appears in the esophagus, it is called rupture. However, many literatures sometimes do not strictly distinguish this, collectively referred to as perforation, this article classifies rupture and perforation as penetrating damage.
