Esophageal compression dysphagia

Dysphagia cause by esophageal compression is caused by the abnormality of the aortic arch-derived blood vessels, resulting in compression of the esophagus and trachea. The clinical symptoms of dysphagia and / or inspiratory dyspnea are the main symptoms. Bayford (1794) first reported describing the symptoms of ectopic right subclavian artery compression of the esophagus. Sauder (1947) achieved success in the separation of the aortic annulus (which surrounds the trachea and esophagus).
