Rickettsia
Rickettsiosis is a collective term for a variety of acute infections caused by certain pathogenic microorganisms in the rickettsia order. It is a worldwide or endemic epidemic with varying clinical manifestations. The main media are arthropods such as ticks, lice, fleas and mites. They can also occur due to scratching and biting by domestic animals such as cats and dogs.
