Neonatal atelectasis

Strictly speaking, atelectasis should point out that the lungs have never been filled with gas after birth, and the lost de-aeration of the lung tissue that has been inflated should be called pulmonary collapse. However, due to the habit used for many years, generalized atelectasis can include congenital atelectasis and acquired pulmonary atrophy.
