Colon polyps and polyposis
The mucosal foot-like protrusions protruding from the intestinal lumen of the colon are called colon polyps. It includes tumorous or non-tumorous types of lesions. In 1982, pathologists from the National Cooperative Group for Colorectal Cancer proposed a unified classification standard in China. Among the 2755 cases of colon polyps surveyed by the Zhejiang Colorectal Cancer Collaboration Group (1978), 72.3% were neobiological and 82.7% were Shinya in the United States. China's proportion is slightly lower, which may be due to the higher proportion of schistosomiasis and the relatively low neobiological nature.
