Renal artery embolism

Renal arterial embolism includes renal arterial emboli and renal arterial thrombosis. Because it is quite rare and the symptoms are not specific, it is easy to misdiagnose or delay diagnosis. Renal arterial embolism can cause hypertension and acute renal failure. Under certain conditions, the renal arteries or their branches may form local thrombus or be emboli circulated. The larger arteries are blocked by thrombus or emboli, which will cause renal ischemia and even induce renal infarction.
