Primary syphilis

Syphilis is a chronic systemic sexually transmitted disease caused by Treponema pallidum infection. It is transmitted mainly through sexual intercourse. The manifestations of this disease are extremely complex and can almost invade various organs throughout the body, causing damage to multiple organs. Primary syphilis is mainly manifested as ulcers or hard chancre at the infection site. One week after the appearance of the hard chancre, the nearby lymph nodes became swollen, which was painless lymphadenitis. If the chancre is untreated, it can heal itself after 3-4 weeks. It can heal quickly after effective treatment, leaving superficial atrophic scars.
