Parastoma
Ostomy (oral) is a hernia formed by protruding the intestine or an artificial channel next to the ureter to divert intestinal contents or urine. Parastomas often occur in patients with incomplete healing between the fistula channel and the viscera penetrating the abdominal wall, and are a late complication after fistula surgery.
