Vestibular adenocarcinoma

Cancers of the vestibular gland are rare. More than 50% of the primary cancer of the vestibular gland (carcinoma of Bartholins gland) is adenocarcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma accounts for about 30%. Vestibular adenocarcinoma accounts for 2% to 7% of all vulvar malignancies. More common in older women, younger patients are rare. The age of onset is usually 10 years younger than vulvar squamous cell carcinoma, and the peak age is 50 to 60 years.
