Infantile tetany
Vitamin D deficiency tetany, also known as infantile tetany, is mostly seen in infancy, mainly due to vitamin D deficiency, resulting in low serum calcium, increased neuromuscular excitability, convulsions and tetany. In recent years, the incidence has decreased year by year.
