Tracheobronchial foreign body
Foreign body of trachea and bronchus is a common clinical emergency. Foreign objects can remain in the laryngo-pharyngeal cavity, larynx, trachea and bronchi, causing hoarseness and dyspnea. The right bronchus is thick and short, so foreign bodies easily fall into the right main bronchus. 75% occur in children under 2 years of age.
