Elbow tuberculosis

Elbow tuberculosis is the first of the three major joints of the upper limbs, accounting for 0.92% of systemic osteoarticular tuberculosis. Patients are most young, and male and female patients are roughly equal to the left and right sides. Both elbow joints have been reported to be involved in the same patient. Most patients have tuberculosis in other organs. Although the incidence of tuberculosis in the elbow joint is not high, accounting for only 5.63% of bone and joint tuberculosis in the whole body, but it is the site with the highest incidence of tuberculosis in the bones and joints of the upper limbs.
