Cerebral vein malformation
Cerebral venous malformations are also known as cerebral venous hemangiomas and cerebral venous tumors. Because it is abnormal in shape, but still provides functional venous drainage for the corresponding tissue, it is also called developmental venous abnormality. Venous malformations can be divided into superficial and deep. Superficial type refers to the deep medullary vein area leading into the cortical vein through the superficial medullary vein; deep type refers to the subcortical area leading into the deep venous system.
