Neonatal purulent meningitis
Purulent meningitis of newborn (hereinafter referred to as brain) is a meningitis inflammation caused by purulent bacteria in the neonatal period. Cerebral brain is a common life-threatening disease. This disease is often part of or secondary to sepsis. However, some children have no symptoms of sepsis and only temporary bacteremia. The clinical symptoms are often atypical (especially in premature babies). The main symptoms are irritability, crying and screaming, irritability, and severe coma. Sometimes show symptoms such as low response, lethargy, milk rejection. Therefore, when purulent meningitis is suspected, cerebrospinal fluid should be checked early, diagnosed early, and treated thoroughly and promptly to reduce mortality and sequelae.
