Pediatric virus-associated phagocytosis
Virus-associated hemophagocytic syndrome (VAHS), also known as systemic histiocytosis with marked phagocytosis, is a type of immunohistocytosis. The symptoms are related to systemic viral infections and are clinically characterized by high fever, rash, and decreased blood cells.
