Respiratory depression
Respiratory depression is more common in opioid poisoning: 1. Clinical manifestations of mild opioid poisoning are headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, excitement or suppression. The patient has fantasies and loss of time and space. 2. There are three major signs of coma and pupil reduction such as needle size and severe respiratory depression during severe poisoning. Patients may have convulsions, closed teeth, and angled arches. Breathing becomes shallower and slower, followed by sigh-like breathing or tidal breathing, often accompanied by pulmonary edema. Most of the acute poisoning died of respiratory failure within 12 hours. 3. Chronic poisoning is mainly manifested by loss of appetite, constipation, weight loss, aging and decreased sexual function.
