Syphilitic cardiovascular disease
Syphilitic cardiovascutar disease is a cardiovascular disease caused by Treponema pallidum invasion of the cardiovascular system in the late (third stage), including syphilitic aoritis, syphilitic aortic valve insufficiency, and syphilis Aortic aneurysm, coronary stenosis, and myocardial gum-like swelling. Most syphilis is acquired and congenital syphilis is rare. Although cardiovascular syphilis is rare, it still exists. The disease progresses slowly, from 10 to 25 years after the initial infection with syphilis (5 years for the faster, 40 years for the slower). The patients are mostly 35-50 years old, and the male to female ratio is 4: 1 to 5: 1.
