Vertebral tooth process fracture

The odontoid process fracture is a serious injury that affects the stability of the atlantoaxial region, accounting for about 10% of cervical spine injuries. Due to its special anatomical structure, the incidence of non-healing is also high. The presence of instability factors may cause acute delayed cervical spinal cord compression and endanger life.
