Hypercarotinemia

Hypercarotenaemia (hypercarotenaemia), also known as citrus peel, is a kind of yellowing of the skin caused by excessive carotene content in the blood. Yellow staining of the skin without yellowing of the sclera is the most important feature. Corrects underlying diseases without special treatment.
