Vulvar albinism
Vulvar albinism is a congenital, recessive genetic disease. Genus Autosomal Recessive. It is a genetic disease with congenital pigment deficiency and dysfunction of melanin synthesis in hair follicles. It is manifested by the reduction or lack of pigment in the skin and hair of the whole body, and it may only occur locally in the vulva. Ocular skin albinism (OCA) is involved in patients with this disease, and ocular albinism (OA) is mainly involved in eyes. Vulvar albinism has no conscious symptoms.
