Foreign body in chest
Intrathoracic foreign bodies are more common in foreign bodies caused by various trauma to the chest. Intrathoracic foreign bodies are more common in chest penetrating injuries. Common foreign bodies that overflow in the chest are metal fragments or bullets. The principle of emergency treatment is debridement and hemostasis, correction of shock, maintenance of circulating respiratory function, and prevention of infection.
