Pediatric Meow Syndrome
The clinical manifestations of pediatric cat cry syndrome are mainly cat-like crying at birth, typical deformities of the head and face, small head with round face, wide eye distance, small jaw, strabismus, wide flat nose and low position. Small ears, etc., have retarded growth and severe mental retardation. Pediatric Meow Syndrome is a chromosome deletion syndrome caused by the deletion of the short arm of chromosome 5 (deletion of 5p).
