Postprandial hypoglycemia
Also known as postprandial dumping syndrome. It refers to a series of hypoglycemia that occurs after gastric emptying is too fast, glucose is quickly absorbed by the intestinal mucosa, and blood sugar suddenly increases, which stimulates the islets to secrete too much insulin.
