Thyroid tuberculosis
Thyroid tuberculosis, also known as tuberculous thyroiditis, is a chronic inflammatory disease of the thyroid gland. The disease is more common in young and middle-aged patients aged 20 to 50, and children can also develop the disease. The ratio of male to female is about 1: 3 to 1: 4. Rarely clinically, it is easy to misdiagnose.
