At the end of the 1970s, the author also raised this issue in China and attracted the attention of colleagues in the orthopaedic community. Due to everyone's attention, especially the advent and widespread use of non-ionic iodine contrast agents in recent years (which has replaced traditional iodine agents, including iodine oil), the incidence of this disease is decreasing.
