Secondary adhesion arachnoiditis
This disease is not only more common in the past, but also has serious consequences. In 1977, an international conference focusing on lumbosacral arachnoiditis was held in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and a large number of clinical and experimental studies were reported in the Spine magazine in 1978. In recent years, It has attracted the attention of scholars from various countries. At the end of the 1970s, the author also raised this issue in China and attracted the attention of colleagues in the orthopaedic community. Due to everyone's attention, especially the advent and widespread use of non-ionic iodine contrast agents in recent years (which has replaced traditional iodine agents, including iodine oil), the incidence of this disease is decreasing.
