Salt-sensitive hypertension

Salt-sensitive hypertension can be defined as an increase in blood pressure caused by relatively high salt intake. The amount of salt intake is an important environmental factor for hypertension, but individuals in the population show different blood pressure responses to salt load or reduce salt intake, and there is a problem of salt sensitivity.
