Central nervous system granulomatous vasculitis
Granulomatous angiitis of the central nervous system, also known as primary angiitis of the central nervous system (PACNS), or isolated central nervous system vasculitis (isolated angiitis of the central nervous system). This kind of vasculitis has no vasculitis and other inflammation manifestations in other parts of the body. Vasculitis changes are limited to the blood vessels of the central nervous system. Before cerebral angiography and brain biopsy techniques were used in the clinic, due to the lack of clinical features and neglect of the disease, clinical diagnosis and reports of central nervous system granulomatous vasculitis before death were rare. In fact, PACNS is not uncommon clinically. In recent years, with the application of cerebral angiography and stereotactic brain tissue biopsy technology, and clinicians' awareness of central nervous system granulomatous vasculitis, the reports of central nervous system granulomatous vasculitis have gradually increased.
