Hip tuberculosis

Hip tuberculosis accounts for approximately 7.20% of systemic osteoarticular tuberculosis, second only to spinal tuberculosis. More common in children and young adults, more men than women. 7% -10% of cases can be seen with sacroiliac joint tuberculosis or lower lumbar cone tuberculosis.
