Roundworm-induced acute pancreatitis
Ascaris-induced acute pancreatitis (ascaris-induced acute pancreatitis) is relatively rare in the clinic. The cause of the disease is a series of chemical inflammation of the pancreas caused by the inability of the bile and pancreatic juice to be excreted due to the entry of the ascaris into the ampulla or pancreatic duct. As acute edema pancreatitis, some patients can develop hemorrhagic and necrotizing pancreatitis.
