Esophageal cancer in the elderly
Carcinoma of esophagus is a malignant tumor that mainly originates from esophageal squamous epithelium and columnar epithelium. Squamous carcinoma accounts for about 90% and adenocarcinoma accounts for about 10%. The most typical clinical manifestation of esophageal cancer is progressive dysphagia.
