Pediatric blue diaper syndrome
Pediatric blue diaper syndrome, also known as blue diaper syndrome, is caused by malabsorption of tryptophan in the gastrointestinal tract and is converted to indole by bacterial action. It is excreted in the form of urinary blue mother. It is named after urine blue mother is oxidized to urine blue mother when exposed to air. Pediatric blue diaper syndrome, also known as hypercalcemia with kidney stones and urinary blue mother urine, blue cyanosis syndrome, Drummond syndrome, diaper blue staining syndrome, simple intestinal tryptophan malabsorption (isolated intestinal tryptophan malabsorption) and so on.
