Chronic superficial gastritis

Chronic gastritis (CG) refers to chronic inflammatory lesions of the gastric mucosa caused by various etiologies. Clinically, it mainly includes two categories: chronic superficial gastritis and atrophic gastritis. There are also some special types of gastritis, such as bile reflux gastritis, portal hypertension gastritis, and uremia. Gastritis and so on. The main causative factor of chronic superficial gastritis is H. pylori infection. Repeated episodes of chronic gastritis can cause atrophy of gastric mucosal glands and intestinal metaplasia. In some cases, atypical hyperplasia of glands can occur. The pathogenesis is related to the long-term effects of pathogenic factors on the mucosal barrier. Gastric mucosal barrier mainly refers to the defense and repair of gastric mucosa, which can be divided into 5 levels. H.pylori infection can cause barrier damage at all stages. It has been shown that chronic gastritis is very common in the clinic, with the highest incidence of various gastric diseases, and is one of the diseases with the highest outpatient consultation rate.
