Pediatric distal renal tubular acidosis

The clinical manifestations of renal tubular acidosis (RTA) are characterized by high chloride metabolic acidosis with normal anion gap, renal calcification, and kidney stones. It can be divided into infant type and infant type clinically. The former occurs within a few months after birth, and is more common in male infants. The latter often show symptoms after 2 years of age, more common in women, and dominated by chromosomes.
