Glossy moss
Lichen nitidus is a chronic skin disease of unknown cause. The clinical features are small papules with shiny caps and needles that are mostly clustered, but not fused. They occur in the penis, groin and lower abdomen. The disease occurs predominantly in middle-aged men, and it has been reported in children. Histology is characteristic and the prognosis is good.
