Fecal incontinence in the elderly
Fecal incontinence or anal incontinence refers to incontinent defecation and exhaust at least 2 or more times a day. It is a clinical symptom with various pathophysiological bases caused by various reasons. The incidence of elderly people is about 1%, and elderly hospitalized patients are more common. There are generally more women than men.
