Condyloma acuminatum in pregnancy
Condyloma acuminata is a common sexually transmitted disease in recent years, second only to gonorrhea. Condyloma acuminatum is a human condition papilloma virus with a total of 68 subtypes. Among them, low-risk subtypes 6 and 2 are the most common pathogens. Sexual intercourse is the main route of transmission, but a few are transmitted through non-sex contact. Occurrence of the genital area (compartment of the posterior labia, inside of the labia minora, etc.) is the most common, accounting for 93%, followed by the cervix (of which there are more raised types and less flat types), accounting for 32%. The vagina accounts for only 18%.
