Parainfluenza virus antibody
Parainluenza virus (PIV) is an important pathogen that mainly causes upper respiratory tract infections and severe lower respiratory tract infections in infants and children. Its structure is a single-negative-strand RNA virus with a capsule, and there are two kinds of spikes on the capsule, namely HN protein and F protein. HN protein has hemagglutination and neuraminidase activity, F protein is similar to respiratory syncytial virus, and mediates the fusion of the virus envelope and the host cell membrane.
