Acute mesenteric lymphadenitis in children
Acute mesenteric lymphadenitis in children is one of the common causes of abdominal pain in children. It is more common in children under 7 years of age and is mostly a viral infection. Occurs in the winter and spring seasons, often in the course of acute upper respiratory infections, or secondary to intestinal inflammation.
