Toxic cataract
Many substances are known to cause cataracts in laboratory animals. In humans, cataracts induced by local or systemic use of drugs and toxic substances have been reported clinically and have attracted much attention. Many drugs and chemicals can cause cataracts, and toxic cataract, which is directly related to ophthalmology, is mainly caused by some drugs.
