Hyperplasia of sebaceous glands
Sebaceous gland hyperplasia, also known as senile hyperplasia of sebaceous glands, is a benign tumor caused by normal sebaceous glands in the elderly skin. Also known as senile sebaceous nevus or adenoma-like sebaceous hyperplasia. More common in middle-aged and older people over 50 years old. The main manifestation is the concave yellow papules on the frontal face. When the appearance is affected, surgical or non-surgical treatment is available.
